Shilpa Shetty’s Latest Yoga Class Is About the Benefits of Reverse Boat Pose

Every Monday might not be about agility or a lot of energy. There will be days when you feel depressed, lazy and lethargic. But that shouldn’t mean you skip your exercise routine. At least that’s what Bollywood fitness fanatic Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who continues to motivate her fans with her exciting workout routines, wants you to follow! As part of her weekly #MondayMotivation ritual, the actress suggested a yoga pose to infuse her body with strength.

People often tend to push the limits when it comes to fitness. In this quest, they also end up exercising without interruption. Overtraining can, in fact, have adverse effects on your body. You may end up feeling more tired or experience reduced levels of energy and motivation. Also, you may need to slow down for a few days to allow your muscles and nervous system to feel rejuvenated.

For these days, Shilpa has a little push for you. Here’s what she says! “The body always needs a little push to stick to a routine when it has worked without much rest. Feeling a little sluggish or lazy may seem natural, but never give in completely to your body’s demands. Get enough rest, but don’t let it become inactive,” Shilpa wrote on her Instagram account.

So even though she wanted to take it a little slow, the 46-year-old chose not to miss her exercise routine. Shilpa Shetty spent a few minutes practicing Viparita Naukasana or what we know as the Reverse Boat Pose.

According to Shilpa, who always makes yoga look like fun, “it may not seem like a very heavy routine, but it is a routine full of energy.”
