So why is strength training at the top of the list?

Over the years, strength training has become a preferred means to reduce body fat, build lean muscle, and burn calories! It is important to understand that lean muscle mass decreases with age. Yes, as your body fat percentage increases over time, if you don’t take steps to replace lean muscle mass, you will lose everything. That’s where strength training can help you preserve your muscle mass.

Here are some reasons why strength training works:

1. Helps to develop strong bones

When you do strength training regularly, your bone density increases and your risk of osteoporosis decreases.

2. Helps in weight loss

If you want to lose weight, make sure strength training is part of your fitness regimen. Not only does it help you burn a ton of calories, but it also speeds up your metabolism levels, which means you can stay fit in the long run!

Strength training can improve your quality of life and improve your ability to perform everyday activities. In addition, it can also help protect your joints from injury and improve your balance, especially during old age.

4. Helps manage chronic conditions

Strength training also helps reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.

So girls, practice strength training regularly to see magnificent results!
